I can't help it but every Data Comm and Networking module would explicitly be a random crapping session for Andy and myself. That bugger.
Putting that aside, the many speculations (not that it's alot to begin with.. say 1?) I had come to realise that the percussion music scene it's not just about making music and executing it out with the correct technics. There are actually more stuffs that one has to take note of. First things first, Samba is one of the so called new genres for myself and the rest to actually experiment with.
One of the many things that Samba has to have is the "swing". The accentuation comes in places not similar to the europeans percussion music. In fact, the accentuation is actually important since that is where the swing starts.
When all is done right, the swing will just come to you, and believe me. It's grrrrrrrroooooooovvvvvvvyyyyy!
P.S: Andy.. GOOD LUCK FOR THE COMPETITION!
